The Fender® and Squier® Products sold by Fender® France benefit from a two-year contractual warranty against manufacturing or construction defects for the benefit of the consumer.
However, Fender® France offers all its customers a 3-year warranty extension, bringing the total warranty to 5 years. (Please note that the warranty is limited to 3 months for electronic tubes and loudspeakers for instrument amplifiers and sound equipment).
To claim the benefit of this extension, the consumer must, within 30 days after the date of purchase, fill in all the fields below. If you have any questions, please contact your dealer or send an email to [email protected]. The orginal purchase invoice will be requested for any pick-up of your Fender product under the extended warranty. Any misrepresentation will in effect void the warranty extension.
This warranty will be validated only after all the necessary information has been recorded, in good and due form, without any missing elements, otherwise the warranty will be considered null and void.
The warranty obligation to which Fender France is subject is limited to the repair or exchange of a defective merchandise to the exclusion of any other charge or indemnity of any kind. The contractual guarantee applies exclusively to the first user. The cost of the intervention under guarantee can not exceed the price of the instrument concerned.
- Exclusions from warranty: :
- Goods which have been the subject of technical interventions outside an authorized service center.
- Obvious defects, which the consumer will have known at the time of purchase.
- Damage due to excessive use or inadequate to the technical characteristics of the goods.
- Normal wear and tear as well as any original settings of the goods.
- Tone bars of stringed instruments.
- Surface or finish coatings such as chrome or varnish.
